Q.

baby' s knees clicking

hi, my baby is six months old and from about a month ago i noticed her right knee started clicking. it seems as though its moving in and out of the socket. it doesnt seem to cause her any pain though. she can take weight on the legs as well without any discomfort (from what i can tell) her left leg started doing this as well now about 2 weeks ago. is it normal?

Paediatrician

This is probably normal, but there are certain conditions where clicking or laxness of joints is a feature of important genetic conditions in infants so she should be seen and examined by your paediatrician. In addition her hips must be checked again to be sure that there is no clicking present as this is a sign of congenital dislocation of the hips.
