Q.

baby' s first food

hi again,
i want to thank you for your speedy responses to the questions being asked,i appreciate your professional advice.
I' ll be having a scheduled c-section any time soon and was wondering how and when breast feeding is possible after the surgery,i hope to exclusively breastfeed my baby for six months at least,i had difficulties feeding my daughter who was born via surgery too.Its important to me that my baby gets the first milk(colostrum) and subsequent " normal"  milk,i do not intend to introduce formula those first days, please advice.
Thanks.

You will be able to breastfeed your bay soon after birth. You will probably have an epidural so will be wide awake when you need to start feeding your new baby.
