The average weight for a little boy of 17 months is 10.8kg. Your son's weight falls in the lowest 10% for boys of his age.It is unusual that he should lose weight while eating well and being on a good milk.It may be an idea to ask your doctor to see him to find out if there is any obvious reason why your son is losing weight. It is posssible that he is just a very energetic little boy who burns up a lot of the calories he eats every day.If all is well once you have seen the doctor then you can try him on Pediasure supplement.
