Q.

baby weight

my 8 week old daughter weighs 5.69kg at the moment. she was measured by the nurse yesterday with a measuring tape and said she is 68cm tall. its the first time she has been measured like that and when we came home i measured her " flat" and i measured 62.5cm. she had grown 3.5cm in 2 weeks since her 6 week check up. she is currently on s26gold and gets 6x 125ml bottles a day but allready sleeps between 6 to 9 hours at night. since birth she' s been a hungry baby (birth weight was 3.37kg and 50cm at 40 weeks). do i need to be concerned about her weight?

Your baby is tall for her age and her weight is exactly in balance with her length. There is no need to be concerned about her weight.
