Q.

baby tummy

Afternoon,
I have a 1 year old son. he is very slender, but recently I noticed his stomach starting gaining weight (stomach is much rounder/ fat). he eats well, and stool goes out on a daily basis.
he is currently on parmalat 1st growth milk.
Should i be concerned about his tummy?

Thanks

Yes, you should take note of this if your son is very thin but his tummy is protruding. It is a pity that you did not mention his weight. The problem is that there is a condition called Coeliac Disease where children are intolerant of gluten in wheat and other cereals and may have the appearance you describe with your baby son. It would be best for you to ask your paediatrician to see your son and to decide if he is fine or if further tests are needed.
