Baby too thin

I am worried that my baby is not picking up enough weight. She was born 2.8kg, and is now 24 weeks (5.5 months) old, and weighs 6.7kg. In the past 8 weeks she only picked up 700g. She is mostly on breastmilk. I feed her breastmilk in the morning before I go to work, and in the evenings, and express during the day. Because I can' t express enough to last the whole day she also gets about 1 bottle of formula a day. We' ve also started introducing a bit of solids in the last 2 weeks.

She has never been sick and is very active. If she is not sleeping she is constantly moving. I even have trouble holding her on my lap, because she just wants to move around. Could that be the reason why she is so thin? Should I do something that would make her pick up more weight?

Your baby is a little underweight for her age but she is well within normal weight charts. She may need some extra calories and I see that she is now starting on solids. Her milk intake seems to be good. She started off a little below the average for weight at birth and she seems to be following the same weight prediction line. She may simply be following a family pattern.
