Q.

Baby swallowed piece of rubber

Good Day Doctor,

My 13 month old baby swallowed a tiny piece of rubber from one of his toys. He seems fine but I am a little worried. Would it affect his tummy in anyway? We will be inspecting all his toys carefully and put away anything that is even remotely dangerous.

As long as your baby does not show any sign of choking all should be well and he will simply pass the piece of rubber-as long as it a small piece.
