Baby Sick Now and Then

My girl is 9,5 months. she was born at 2kg and now weighs 7.5kg, which I think is a little underweight? A month never goes by without her getting sick. Last week tuesday I took her to the doctor for her ear proplem. The Dr diagnoised her with an ear infection and mild fever and gave us a Broad Spectrum Antibiotic(Betamox) to clear the infection,Grippon,Allergex and drops to clean the wax. The baby 3 days later had a runny tummy and I stopped the Antibiotic and the milk(S26).and gave her hydrat.I took her back on Tuesday and he said I should have proceeded with Antibiotic until 5 days. he gave us Betapect to stop the runny tummy and panamol for pain and a multivitamin to make up for lost food in baby' s system. He said I should give a little milk , but when i did the baby' s tummy went loose again and now has fever. I am now confused on how long can the baby live on the hydrat solution, it' s been more than 5 days and which medicine should i give her. Please help

This is all very worrying and your baby is on far too many medicines. Her diarrhoea is as as result of the antibiotic which must be stopped. Give your baby a probiotic such as Reuteri drops 1ml daily for at least 10 days. Please also do not give her Allergex which is no longer permitted for babies and she should not be given Grippon either. She must go back onto her formula.
She should be given a probiotic every month for 10 days especially through the winter to boost her immunity. If she is at a creche give her Creche Guard daily for the winter months as well. If she continues to get ill so often you will need to think about an alternative to the creche.
