Baby refuses feed

My 18 w/o baby has been bottle fed with NAN HA since 2 w/o. I've had no problems until recently when he started to refuse the bottle and cries as if in pain. my paediatrician was unable to consult and referred me to a gp. I eventually saw an ENT spec. who examined and found no problems with ears, nose nor throat. Baby has no problems with stomache, fever or any other signs of illness. I've tried another bottle type and one feed of Lactogen, but with no remarkable improvement. Please advise...

You say that your baby cries as if in pain and that he does not appear to have any tummy pain or cramps or any illness. One possibility at his age is that he has started teething. It is common for babies to not feed as well as usual for a short while while when teething starts. The main thing is not to change formulas and upset his normal routine.I assume that he is drinking some of his formula but less than normal.
