Q.

Baby now 5 months

HI Doc,

Baby will be 5 months on the 5th. He is doing well on the Nan LF, even better than when he was on Isomil, as there is no coating on his tongue, and he does not spit up anymore.
I have not yet put him on solids and am trying to wait at least another 2 wks, since baby''s wieght is good at approx. 8.2 kg.
I would like to know if I should try him on the normal Nan from 6 months, or should I go back to Isomil2 or Infasoy, as I''ve noticed there is no NAN LF from 6 months?
Many thanks - R

You can continue on the NAN LF to 12 months.Your baby has really done well.Do not change your baby to regular NAN or Isomil2. Start him on solids from 6 months.Rice cereal is recommneded, but make sure that the cereal does not contain any cow's milk.
