Baby not sleeping

Hi Dr.

My baby is now 1 year 5 months and she is not sleeping. She still wakes up twice a night just for me to give her a bottle even though I put it next to her pillow and she knows that very well but she just wants me to wake up. I am really exhausted since I cannot fall asleep immediately after she has woken me up now if i have to do that twice a night it means I am not getting enough sleep. What can I do to get this baby to just pick up her bottle and drink at night without waking everyone up? I am really frustrated my mom has suggested that I leave her with her for a week so that she learns new habits but I cannot stay for such a long time without her, is there any other alternative?

You should not try to leave a bottle for your baby to drink by herself at night. As you say your baby is now in the habit of waking you up and is enjoying her night time meetings with you. If you really want it to stop and you are sure that she is not hungry at night then you will need to follow the 'controlled crying' method [see this on Google]This is not easy but it should work.
