Baby Not Drinking

Morning Dr,
My baby girl is 5 months old and has been eating solids for the past month, she also has been drinking 240ml bottles 4 times a day on top of the solids. Now all of a sudden over the weekend she stopped drinking, but still eats, so her throat is fine, i stopped the solids to see if she was too full from them, but she screams cause she is hungry, but just won''t drink. I haven''t changed the formula or anything. I started giving the solids again so that she will get something in, and she is eating up a storm, but will not drink milk, water, tea nothing. She has had a ot of phelgm for a few weeks now, so i thought maybe that was bothering her because she coughs alot. but that seems a lot better now and still she won''t drink. What do i do? What could the problem be?

It is likely that your baby is teething now. It is quite common for babies of this age to go off their feeds for one or two days at a time when they have discomfort due to teething.Massage a little Pansoral gel using your little finger twice a day onto her lower gums mainly in the middle where her teeth will first come through. She is too young to be drinking tea or water and her milk is her main source of nutrition now.
