Q.

Baby Mucus

Baby 4 months old have constant mucus in throat. Changed the milk from NAN to NAN HA with no difference. Can he be allergic to the NAN. We do have cats in the house, can that have an effect.

This is unlikely to be due to an allergy. Your baby son may have a problem such as a post nasal drip or possibly an uncoordinated swallowing reflex or reflux. It is important that your baby is examined by a paediatrician. It would be best to consult a paediatric pulmonologist about this problem. There are experts in all the main centres in SA.
