Q.

baby legs and arms jerk

hi. my baby''s legs and arms jerk sometimes as well as his jaw whilst i''m breast feeding. what could be the cause of this? is it something i need to worry about and what can one do about it?

Paediatrician

This type of occasional jerking in a newborn baby is normal. It is due to your baby's immature nervous system. If the jerking becomes more severe and happens every day it would be best to ask your paediatrician to see your baby.
