Baby is constipated

Hi There

My baby is two years old and he is constipated for the last 4 days, last week we took him to the doctor and he gave us the Glycerine suppositries, so that worked within 30 minutes, but this week he is struggling, what else can we give him and what could the problem be. He has water everyday and is eating normally.
Thank you

The question here is why has your little toddler now started to be constipated? Has anything changed in his diet?He should be on a diet that is rich in fibre [brown bread, weetbix] and fruit and he must drink plenty of water. He can also have diluted fruit juice once a day.He should not have too much milk at his age and should not be eating any hard cheese if he is constipated.Try giving him Duphalac Liquid 5ml twice daily for 10 days to help him over his constipation.
