Q.

baby has gastro for two weeks is

i have a six month old baby which was hospitalised with gastro, she has gastro for two weeks and still have it . is this normal because my doctor feels that the germ must work out . please advise. she is on nan lactose free formule is their another formule that i can put her on as she turns 7 months old soon as most formules have a number 2 when they reach 6 months

Your baby should not still be having diarrhoea. She may have developed a lactose intolerance which is not being dealt with adequiately by the NAN LF. Try her on Isomil1 for one week and if she settles well then give her Isomil2.
