Baby doesn' t want to drink milk

Hi Doc

I have been feeding my 11 months old baby isomil since birth. Recently he is refusing to drink milk. He only drinks rooibos with honey, water &  juice. Is there any other thing i can feed him with as he is allergic to dairy products, should i try giving him another milk or is it ok for a baby his age not drink milk at all.

Thank you.

Your baby still needs milk and the fluids he is taking are not enough for good nutrition. He is now used to the sweet taste of fruit juices and it is going to be difficult to find a milk that he will drink and one that is safe for his allergies. You could try him on a low allergy formula such as NAN HA2 and see if he will drink this. The other option is to try him on regular soya milk in cartons as he is already 11 months old.
