This is a good observation. Both testicles should be in his scrotum by now. It is possible that one of the testes has pulled up out of the scrotum which is known as a 'retractile testis' or one of the testicles did not come down at all which is known as an 'undescended testis'. It is important that both testicles are in place in the scrotum so it would be best to ask your doctor to see your little grandson.
