Baby and cats

My baby have constant mucus in the throat and lungs. We have 2 cats in the house. Me as the father have allergy to the cats in a way that I have asthma. Is the cats bad for the baby (5 months old)?

It is very possible that your baby of 5 months has become allergic to the cats. Cats are highly allergenic animals and are often one of the first of the allergies that children develop if they are exposed to cats.With you being so allergic to cats this makes it even more likley that your baby will also be affected.
