Q.

Baby Acne

My 4 week old son has severe baby acne. It started when he was 3 weeks old and is just getting worse! It started on his face and has spread to his neck and chest now. Is there anything I can do? How long will it last?

This is probably not baby acne but is more likely to be a condition called seborrhoeic dermatitis. It usually responds well to treatment. Apply a very mild cortisone cream called Mylocort cream once daily to your baby's rash. If it does not clear after 10 days please take your baby to be seen by a doctor.
