Your baby's weight is well below the average weight for a baby boy of his age which is 9.3kg.In fact his weight is on the 10th percentile line of the infant growth chart which means that his weight falls in the lowest 10% for babies of his age.You have not given me much information about his appetite or his diet and his formula, but I gather from the way that you have written your question that you have tried hard to give your baby a good diet. I would like you to take your baby to be seen by doctor or clinic nurse just to be sure that he is healthy and that there is no need for concern. It may just be that this is simply due to a family tendency to be on the small side.
