Q.

Avaxim booster

Dear Doctor
Recently when I entered my son into preprimary for next year and had to provide a copy of his clinic card I realised that he never received the Avaxim booster injection which the nurse said he should have around 20 months.
He is now 3 years old?
Could you give me some advice on what I should do please?
Thank you.

The Avaxim [hepatitis A] booster can still be given to your son. Take him back to the clinic so that this vaccination can be given.
