Hi girl

My son had the same problems as yours. He was on antibiotics permanently for 4 months and we had his tonsils removed at 21 months (his paed gave us a referral). He is a different child. No fever ever since (not even when teething), eating us out of the house - he is in general a much happier child. He picked up 600g in two months.

He still has a clear runny nose, I guess it is the winter causing it, but really he is not sick.

My son''s immune system was also very very low, thats why he was constantly sick. Had blood tests done and they found that he had an iron deficiency - his iron count was 3 and the normal count is 10!!! Far far below the average count. He is now permanently on Ferrimed for 6 months to boost his immune system and get his iron levels up.

I know how you feel - totally desperate and helpless.

Good luck.
