at my wits end

Good Morning Doc. Need serious help re my 16 month old toddler boy. He refuses to eat anything and everything. He only wants to drink his fluids and thats all. Ive tried changing his menu. Making meal time more like play time. Switching off the tv and then shwitching it on again playing his favourite cartoons. I give him multi vids every morning. I am just about to cry here. Everytime I eat, I think of how he''s not eating. He recently isnt sleeping very well. He tosses and turns and moans and he is often constipated. He looks like he''s bloated and passes out heavy and very stinking (sorry tmi) gas. He''s his ussual busy self though. What am I doing wrong here?

I am concerned about your son and the story that you detail here. The part that most concerns me is your description of him being bloated, constipated and windy. He may have a problem with a food intolerance. The most likely cause is a wheat or gluten intolerance. Your son should be seen by a paediatrician or preferably by a paediatric gastroenterologist.
