astma

hello just wondering if you can help me my son is 9 year old he has astma but this time is a bad one as he was inhosptital ith it and we have being back to the doctores 2 times seeing a 3 doctore his astma seems to be with him all the time he is not him self says his chest hurts all the time and even after haveing his ventiloine throught a spacer it still hurts and he is in pain with it he is also on a junioure flextide 50gm one and he had a steriod tablet for 3 days and still didnt help him and take his ventoline a lot and says his chest hurts a lot could it be broncites astma

Asthma should not cause chest pain like this. It seems to me that your son may have pneumonia with pleurisy. In children of his age the most likely diagnosis is a condition called atypical pneumonia. Ask his doctor to have an x-ray taken of his chest and ask about this diagnosis:'Atypical pneumonia caused by mycoplasma' Please let me know what the outcome is as I am concerned about your son's condition.
