Q.

Asthma

Good Day

My son will be 2 years old in August. We look him to the Paediatrician as we noticed him coughing for a few months. He usually coughs after he stops running. His current weight is 19.2 &  his height 89.He perscribed Ashovent for when he coughs, Baclate twice a day &  Singular tablets for at night. We are just conserned about treating him for asthma. Could his coughing be a sign of asthma even if he does not become out of breath or struglles breathing?

Thank you,

Yes, your paediatrician has made the correct diagnosis. This is exactly how young children first start off with asthma. Your son is on the correct treatment for asthma.
