My Four year old son had been sick of flu and cold more often. The Paediatricians that i took him too says that he might have asthma, this thursday i took him to the Paediatrician and he said that he had bronchail asthmatic and he also gave him a pump. he said his asthma is not that serious. I just want to know if there are any tests that he can do to confirm if he does have asthma, when he was 2 they did some bloot test to find out if he had any allegies and they could not find any, they said that he was too young for the other test. What can i do do find out if he has Asthma. Thanks Doc

Your son's symptoms do not suggest that he has asthma. In addition he is not an allergic child which is unusual for a child suspected of having asthma. He is unfortunately still too young to blow on a peak flow meter or any other lung function testing equipment normally used to test for asthma.Try to boost his immunity against infections by giving him Scotts emulsion for the winter months and also a probiotic such as Probiflora Children's once daily for 10 days per month for the winter period.
