Q.

Anastaetic for 2 year old

Hi Doc
Compliments of the season.
I was at my dentist yesterday with my boys, we discussed that both boys (6 and 2 years old) need to go under to have work done on their teeth.
How safe is it for my 2 year old who has never been under? and how safe is it for my 6 year old who has gone under twice before for hernia op and tonsils about 2 years back?
Your advice is truly appreciated.
Thank-you

Thank you.Your children's safety when using dental anaesthetics always comes first. Modern dental anaesthesia is very safe and I am sure that your dentist is highly experienced in using anaesthesia in children.Discuss your concerns beforehand with your dentist.
