Q.

Allergy

Hi Professor,

The bush next to our house was burnt and now my 1 year old has a runny nose and watery eyes, which I suspect is an allergy as we also have bad sinus from the smoke.

Is there anything I can give him, or is it just nose spray?

Thank you

Your son's runny nose and watery eyes are probably not due to an allergy but to irritation from the smoke. It will help him to use saline nose drops or spray twice daily. Even though this is probably not an allergy problem it will help to give your son a mild antihistamine such as Allecet Syrup 2.5ml daily for 3 or 4 days.
