Hello Professor,

I suspect my 9 month old has an allergy. He has a runny nose, the mucous is clear and his eyes are watery. He does not sneeze often, so I thought it was not a cold. He also rubs his nose often. I am using Iiadin Paediatric nose spray 3 times a day. I did this for five days and then stopped over the weekend and then started again yesterday. So this is the second week that he has had this runny nose and he is now coughing. I am very upset with Granny as she gave him icecream over the weekend....

Is there a syrup anti-histamine that I can give him? He seems a little grumpy.

Thank you for your time.

It would be a good idea to use an antihistamine.Allecet is a safe non-sedating antihistamine. Use Allecet syrup 2.5ml once daily. You should not continue with the Iliadin. just use saline nose drops for your baby.
