My daughter is 8 1/2 yrs old. She usually gets bad hayfever even out of the allergy season. If its not a hayfever attack she always has a stuffy nose and usually very Phlegmy. What can I do to make her health better? I also wanted to know why does her pallate become real sore during an attack? Is there something to relieve this pain.

Your daughter has typical hayfever symptoms which usually affect children in the spring and summer, but she is affected for most of the year. This is because she is probably allergic to allergens present in the environment throughout the year such as housedust or cats for examole. She should be seen by a paediatrician with experience in paediatric allergy and will need to have tests done to find out what is causing her allergies.
