Childhood Diseases

I e-mailed before about my 2 yr old' s rash, you said maybe scabies. Can' t be, it hasn' t spread and his 4 yr old brother surely would' ve caught it by now. I have cut out fresh milk from his diet, and he doesn' t seem to be scratching so much. If it is the milk, could it be because it is unpasturised? Can I try him with pasturised milk? He' s still eating a bit of yoghurt &  cheese.

As I told you previously it is very difficult to diagnose a child's skin rash without being able to see the rash.Scabies is certainly a very itchy rash, but it does not need to spread very much once the rash is established. If he is allergic to milk it will not matter if the milk is pasteurised or unpasteurised. It would be best to ask a doctor to see your son's rash and to get a proper diagnosis.
