Q.

Allergies

My 2 year old has been coughing and on the weekend his nose started running (clear), he was rubbing his eyes and they were watering quite badly. He also had a temperature of 38.4 (this seems to have gone away now).

Would you say he has allergies? If so, what can I give him?

Allergies do not usually cause a fever. It seems as if your son has a cold. The only feature suggesting an allergy is his itchy eyes. Just keep his nose clear using saline nose drops. No other treatment is needed at this stage.
