Allergex and breastfeeding

can i drink allergex whilst breastfeeding if not what can i drink

You cannot take Allergex as it will pass into your breastmilk and cause sedation in your baby. It is best not to take any antihistamines but if you need one then Zyrtec will be the safest one to take.

If it contains antihistamine then you can' t take it as it will dry up your milk (reduce your supply significantly).

If you aren' t sure whether you can take something or not, the best person to ask is your pharmacist.
