Q.

Allegies?

Hi

I' ve got a 22 month old son, he' s running a fever (I' ve been giving him Ponstel for this), his nose is blocked or running from time to time and has a cough that ends with a vomiting, gagging sound and watery eyes. His GP has advised that it could be allergies. Is this right?

This is definitely not due to allergies. It seems to me that your son has whooping cough. Please take him back to your GP and tell him that this is the diagnosis or take your son to see a paediatrician.
