Q.

ADHD

Dear Doc

I was extremely active with gym and league hockey right throughout my pregnancy with my second child. Could this have been the cause, or have contributed, to his ADHD condition?

Thanks

Ali, it in NO WAY caused your son' s ADHD. It is a genetic condition and nothing you did caused it. We can aggrivate the symptoms with not feeding them well etc, but we cannot cause or prevent it.

I have been down this road as well and believe me - it was not your fault.
