Adeno, Corona en Metapneumo Virus

My Grandchild is in hospital and tests came back: Adeno, Corona and Metapneumo virus. He doesn''t look like a sick child. His iron was tested and came back : 8
How dangerous are these symtoms? He was in hospital a month ago and now again. What can we do to prevent this from happening again?

The viruses that you list here are common viruses that cause chest infections especially during the winter months.Of these the adenovirus can cause the most severe illness. Young children may be infected by other children who are ill while they attend a creche. It is important to wash hands carefully if one has a cold as adults may also transmit this kind of infection to children.Your grandson's blood test level is low and he would benefit from being on an iron supplement.
