Q.

A cold

Hello Dr,
My 22 month old little girl started with a runny nose last Sunday, so I gave her illiadin twice a day morning and evening and sprayed Sterimar at 12h00 and 15h00 from Monday. This kept it under control nicely but of course on Saterday evening was the last i coudl give the Illiadin. Yesterday the mucous seemed to get yellower and thicker. I am afraid this is going to go and lie on her chest. Is there anything i can give her or do as she has started with a slight cough. She is on the Serretide pump 2 x daily so i am afraid to give her over the counter medicines. Someone recommended AC200. What do you think? Thanks for the advice in advance..

As you correctly say your little girl has a cold which usually lasts for about 10 days before clearing up.The Sterimar nose spray is a good choice for her nose. Use this at least twice a day. Also use Mucospect Syrup to help her clear the mucous from her chest. Continue with the Seretide inhaler twice daily.
