Q.

9yr old daughter starting puberty???

hi my daughter will be 9 next month and she has started developing. i am beside myself as i feel she is too young. is this normal?
her breasts have started to develop and she has mentioned the start of pubic hair.
do i need to get her to a dr, or am i just being paranoid?
please help and advice would be great!

Your daughter is a bit young to be developing pubertyalthough this is not uncommon in 9 or 10 year olds these days. I am not really concerned about her starting puberty, but as she is still only 8 years old and to be on the safe side just ask your paediatrician to see her.
