Q.

9month old refuses to eat

I started giving purity at 6months and he ate fine. When his teething started, all he wanted was home cooked meals,like soft cooked veg and i even mashed rice for him. He only has one tooth now and another one just started emerging from his gums two days ago. He refuses to eat any food, only wants to drink breast milk. He has also never taken to a bottle for all the hundred times i''ve tried.
i''m scared he is loosing out on nutrition.

Paediatrician

When your baby is busy teething he may not want to eat. As long as he is drinking breast milk he should be fine. Only offer him very finely mashed or pureed food while he is teething.He should soon start eating normally again, but continue to offer him soft foods if he prefers this.
