Q.

9 week old Change formula???

My 2nd child 9 weeks old now is struggling to drink up a feeding (120ml) Novalac HA. When born I gave her NAN but she had a lot of cramps so we swithch to Novalac. She weight 2kg' s at birth, now 4,5 kg. She stays ' hungry'  but does not seem to like the Novalac. She is otherwise healthy and not colicky. I am concerned as she drinks up tea and water with great ease but not the milk, does she get enough feeding? Must I change to NAN LF or soya milk. My first child got constipitated constantly with the soya formula. She is also not sleeping well - could this be because of the milk? Ped checked her for other illnesses, nothing found, please give your advise

There is nothing to suggest that your baby is allergic to milk, so there is no good reason for her to be fed on Novalac HA which is for milk allergic children.Use a regular cow's milk formula. As your baby is a hungry baby she would probably do best on Lactogen1. Do not give your baby any tea or water.
