9-month old weight and height

Hi Doc

My 9-month old baby girl weighed in at 10.5kgs and her height is 72cm at her measles immunisation yesterday. Please advise if this is fine at this age or if the weight is too low.

Her birth weight was 4.05kgs. She is on 3 solid baby meals a day, NAN HA2 formula during the day and breastmilk when I''m back from work and throughout the night and over weekends.

The average weight for a baby girl of 9 months is 8.4kg, so you can see that your baby girl's weight is well above the average. In fact her weight is on the 98th percentile line putting her in the top 2% for all babies of her age.Her height is just above the average for her age.Her birthweight was also well above the average of 3.3kg.

am having a 9 month old baby boy born via c-section (first child) . His birth weight was 2.9kg and am very worried cause he has been gaining weight very slowly since the day he was born. My breast milk was little and i was not even feeling a cup from both breast so I went to the Doctor and informed him about my problem of breastfeeding and he suggested that i take Espiride pills that were meant to cure depression but also found that they help increase breast milk supply. When i was on this medication i experienced anxiousness, drowsiness and stress which could be the side effects. i decided to stop breastfeeding and i was so pained cause i wanted to give my son the best milk. I then introduced formula when he was six months and he gained weight and i was happy that he gained a lilttle bit of weight. Now he is 9 months and he last ate porridge 2 months ago on September,he doesnt want anything expect water and milk. if i try to give him porridge he vomits everything even the milk he drank and he doesnt even have one teeth yet. I took him to the Doctor and he gave me multivitamin drops and medicine for teething. Am really worried cause last week i took him to the Doctor again to check his weight and only to find out that he is 7.7kg. The Doctor told me as long he is active, playing and singing i should not worry. Am extremely worried please HELP!.
