Q.

9 month old snoring

Hi Doc
What is the cause of snoring? He does not have a blocked nose or anything like that but he snors, this only happens at night, he doesn' t snore during the daily naps.Please help as this is worrying

This is indeed worrying as babies should definitely not snore. Snoring is a sign of a very blocked nose which is usually due to enlarged adenoids in such a young baby. Please ask your paediatrician to see your baby as snoring often leads to breathing problems especially a problem called sleep apnoea where there are periods when a baby may stop breathing for a few seconds.
