9 month old not want to breastfeed

Hi dr, my little girl is almost 9 months old and I have breastfed her from birth. She is on a very good routine during the day and eat her solid foods very well without any problem, but when I offer the breast she doesn t want any! She will only drink once during the day and about 2 times at night when she is sleeping. How do I increase her milk intake?

What is important here is to know your baby's weight. Her weight may be excellent for her age in which case there is no need to be concerned.Try to offer your baby the chance to breastfeed before she has her solids. If she refuses it may be worthwhile trying to offer her a bottle with either expressed breast milk or formula. This is to see if she would prefer to drink from a bottle now.
