Q.

8 Month Old - Measles injection

Hi, my baby girl is just over 8 months old, &  I was told that before she turns 9 months old I need to feed her some egg before I take her for her 9 month measles injection. Do I give her egg white first, or yolk first, or mix it? How much and how regularly do I need to give it to her before we know she is ok for the measles injection? Thank you

You do not and should not do this. It is safe to give the measles vaccination to children even if they are allergic to eggs.
