hi there,
my baby will be 8 months this coming sunday, i would like to know if i can give him tropika juice and if not tropika then what other juice can i let him drink as he does not like any of the baby product juices. he drinks a bit of rooibos but not much, i want to try give him something that he can drink when we go out instead of breastmilk all the time.

It is not a good idea to give Tropika to such a young baby. Babies should not have fruit juices under the age of 1 year.Breastfed babies only need a little extra water if necessary.

Cooled boiled water is all that a baby under a year should drink in addition to breastmilk. Cooled boiled water can be introduced ina sippy cup or normal cup from when solids are introduced. There is no need for juices or rooibos.

Juices can cause tooth damage.

She has many years ahead of her to enjoy juices and teas and tropika''s. Let her develop a taste for water so that she will happilly drink it when she is older too.
