8 month old and formula milk

My son is now 8 months and 3 weeks. He has been on S26 from birth, and around 7 months I switched over to No.2 formula (S26 Promil). Since he was 6 months old, at night he would wake up screeming, and his stomach would be growling, as if he is hungry, but he has cereal at night, and a bottle before bedtime. He usually slept through, but since 5 / 6 months, he wakes up 2 -4 times a night - and has stomach pain. He was admitted with bronchitis 3 weeks ago, and still strugling with the mucus in the nose. He can' t even drink his milk, or sleep peacefully, because he cant breath. Could it be possible, that he is allergic to the cow milk protein in the formula? or what could be the cause? Please help!!

Yes you are probably correct. Your baby may well be allergic to cow's milk. Try NAN HA 2 first and see if he improves. If not he would probably do best on a soya formula.

I also had a problem with the S26 No 2 Promil. The paed suggested I try S26 Gold (No 2).

Good luck.
