Q.

7mnth 3 week month old diet re wheat and dairy

My son' s paediatrician said no wheat, no dairy until 1 year. Said it was to avoid allergies later in life. I' ve since change paeds for personal reasons, but would like a second opinion on this.
Also, baby is still breastfed, he has a feed at 7am, one at 9am, rice cereal at 9:30am, one breastfeed in between and then a lunch of either veg or fruit at about 2pm. At what age is it wise to introduce a third meal and snacks? I plan to breastfeed till one year. He is now 7months,3weeks old.

You can introduce a third meal now. There is no need to withhold wheat or dairy if there is no family history of allergies in your family.
