Q.

7 year old son''s private part

My son is 7 and over the weekend he told me that his private part was sore, so I looked and it looks a bit red. He has not been circumcised. How do I treat this and what precaution can we take to avoid this from happening.

It is difficult for me to answer your question as I am not sure if your son has an infection of the tip of his penis or not. If the tip of his penis is definitely redder than normal he may have an infection called phymosis. It would be best to ask your doctor to see him.
