7 month olds milestones

Good day doc, I have 2 questions regarding my 7 month old twin boys development. They were born on 36 weeks at 2.42 and 2.44kg respectively. All the guidelines say that they should be rolling over and sitting unsupported by now, well my boy''s are not.
When put on there backs they manage to roll onto there sides but can''t seem to get to the point where they have to take there arm away to roll over completely. When lying on there stomach they play and reach out to items put in front of them but when they have had enough they just start crying, they don''t even attempt to roll onto there backs again, should I be worried, how do I encourage them to roll? They can sit unsupported for a few seconds before tilting over to one side or falling face down. How long should they be able to sit by themselves? I also don''t know if they are maybe a bit over weight. They weigh 8.24 and 8.26 respectively. They are eating 3 meals a day (cerelac in the morning, a fruit or veg purity for lunch and fruit and Yogurt at dinner time) and have about 900-1000ml of milk (Breast &  Nan2) per day, is this to much? Thank you for the advise.

Your baby boys' weights are excellent for the age of 7 months, but slightly more than expected if their ages are corrected for their premature birth. There is no need to change their diet as they are doing well. Do not be concerned about not being able to roll over. Many babies seem to skip this stage or it may be influenced by their weight. They should be sitting in a few weeks which is as expected if their ages are corrected.

If your twins were born prem or early, remember that you need to count their age for reaching milestones from when they would have been born if full term, not their actual age.

Also, as much as books give an exact date for milestones, the reality is that there is a pretty wide range of normal. Generally you only need to be concerned if they are very late with a range of different types of milestones.
Often the milestones they have in books aren''t that important anyway.

A book that doesn''t take a panic making approach is what to expect the first year. It tells you for e.g. that the range for crawling is anywhere from about 7 months (very early) to about 12 months, with an average being at about 9 or 10 months.
